Surah Yusuf translation released by Bayyinah

Our partners at Bayyinah have released the first instalment of The Bayyinah Translation, available for free download at the project website.

The translation is a collaboration between Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan and Dr. Sohaib Saeed, who has led research at Bayyinah since 2016. Researchers at Ibn ‘Ashur Centre provide support for the project, which is intended to be a fresh and fluent rendering based on deep study of tafsir (exegesis) and balaghah (Arabic rhetoric). Transparency is another key goal which is achieved through the footnotes.

The PDF of Surah Yusuf will be accompanied this ‘Eid al-Fitr with a video shot in Jakarta last year, in which Dr. Sohaib recites the surah in Arabic, and Ustadh Nouman delivers the translation in an engaging presentation.
