“Select Chapters of Itqan” first edition selling fast
The Ibn ‘Ashur Centre for Quranic Studies is pleased to announce its first official book publication. It is a scholarly translation of a seminal work of Islamic tradition, al-Itqān fī ‘Ulūm al-Qur’ān by Jalāl al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī (d. 911/1505), presented alongside the Arabic text. The Centre’s director, who is also the award-winning translator of The Great Exegesis by Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī, has brought his expertise to make this text accessible and informative for researchers and those intending to specialise in Quranic Studies. The chapters in this volume (being equivalent to the second of four volumes of the Itqān) cover topics of the Quran’s vocabulary and grammar.
